The schools run by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) have shown perfection with better results this year in the class X board examinations as compared to previous years.
This time more than 47% students of class X have passed the examination. Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation runs three Gujarati medium secondary schools and one Hindi and one Urdu medium school.
85.18% students passed SSC examination this year from Asarwa Gujarati Secondary School which had achieved only 23% and 26% success rate in the last two years.
Maninagar Gujarati Secondary School achieved 51% result this year as compared to the results of 0% and 4% in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
Municipal Girls School at Danapith attained 47.61% success rate in 2011 as compared to 20% and 9% in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
Only Rakhial Municipal Urdu Secondary School and Bapunagar Municipal Hindi Secondary School witnessed a drop of 12% and 2% respectively as compared to 2010 year results respectively.
Around 82% and 51% students passed in the SSC examination this year from Urdu and Hindi medium schools respectively.
