This year 2011 Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) will see 68,377 aspirants compete for admissions into professional course. 49,105 candidates from other state candidates registering for the test, Out of which 20,194 candidates are from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh alone. Professional course aspirants can take Physics and Chemistry papers between 10 am and 12 noon, mathematics from 2-3 pm, and Biology from 3.30-4.30 pm.
Overall, there are 106 centres across the state of Karnataka, out of which Bangalore alone has 79 centers. Earlier, the COMED-K had decided not to postpone the UGET, in the light of the re-examination of the All India Engineering Entrance Examination and the Armed Forces Medical College entrance test on Sunday.
