Admissions begins for M.Ed. Programme in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) announced admissions in Masters in Education (M.Ed.) programme through distance learning mode for January 2012 session. The sale of the prospectus has already started in all the regional centers and headquarters.

The last date of submission of filled in forms for M.Ed. Programme is November 20, 2011.

The eligibility for admission to the programme is Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed.) degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade on a five point scale from a recognised Indian or foreign university with two years teaching/ professional experience after completion of B.Ed. programme in a government recognised school/ NCTE recognised teacher education/ research institution.

 The student handbook and prospectus is available on the payment of Rs.200 in cash or through post by sending in the DD of Rs.250 drawn in favour of IGNOU, payable in the city where the prospectus is required.
