Name of Post: Research Officers (Engineering)
Department: Central Soil and Materials Research Station, New Delhi, Ministry of Water Resources
Number of Vacancies: 10 Posts (two posts are reserved for SC candidates, one post is reserved for OBC candidates)
Pay Band: Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 5400
Age Limit: 35 years
Educational: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
Duties: Basic and applied research in the field of Geotechnical Engineering, concrete technology etc. Conduct both field and laboratory tests and undertake investigations of projects. Prepare project reports, technical reports, draft standards etc. All technical, administrative and accounting works as assigned by immediate officer.
NOTE: Candidates with disabilities can apply to the respective posts even if the post is not reserved for them. However, such candidates will be considered for selection to such post by general standard of merit. Persons suffering from not less than 40% of relevant disability shall alone be eligible for the benefit of reservation and other relaxations as permissible under the rules
