Maharashtra SSC & Maharashtra HSC results to be declared in May 2012
The school education department is trying to declare HSC results by May 10 and Std X results by May 25. The department also plans to release students’ marksheets within three days of the declaration of the results online.

After early declaration of HSC and SSC exam timetable (class X and XII board exams), now students are expecting early results from next year. This year students might not have to spend months of agony waiting for their board exam results or getting their marksheets in hand. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education has claimed that results will be declared in May next year.
This year, the SSC results were declared online on June 17, but the students received their marksheets on June 26. The HSC students received their marksheets on June 6 though the results were declared online on May 27. The junior college admission process will start only after the students had received their marksheets.

Meanwhile, there was an increase in the number of students appearing for the September /October exams which was scheduled to start from September 29, due to poor HSC and SSC results. As per the source more than 4.19 lakh students are expected to appear for the exams.
