IIST 2012, IIST B.Tech Admission 2012, ISAT – 2012 online registration begins on 1st November 2011

IIST offers B.Tech programme in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences. Admissions to this programme are based on the admission test, ISAT, conducted by IIST. Assistance is provided to all B.Tech students to cover the cost of education, boarding, lodging and healthcare. On successful completion of the course with prescribed academic standards, the students will be absorbed in ISRO as Scientists/Engineers.

Admission to B.Tech (2012): Schedule of ISAT – 2012

ISAT – 2012, for admission to B.Tech programmes commencing in the academic year 2012,   is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 21st April, 2012 between 09:00 AM to 12:00 noon, at various centres across India.

Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Calicut, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Dispur,  Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Port Blair, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, Vishakapatnam.

Seats for B.Tech (2012) IIST

The total number of seats for the undergraduate programmes in IIST is 156. The branch-wise distribution of seats is as follows:

B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering: 59 seats
B.Tech. in Avionics: 58 seats
B.Tech. in Physical Sciences: 39 seats

How to apply for ISAT

Candidates can apply on-line in the prescribed ISAT Application Form that will be made available shortly in the web-site of IIST (http://www.iist.ac.in) only.  Necessary guidelines for registration of the application, payment of examination fee, eligibility, reservation, centres for examination etc. will also be provided in the website. Candidates must ensure that they satisfy all the eligibility conditions for appearing in ISAT while applying.
