Assam shortly to take decision on CEE

Assam government will shortly take a decision on Common Entrance Exam (CEE) for medical and engineering colleges in the state, said Tarun Gogoi, Chief Minister.

Also, authorities of the Dibrugarh University conducting the CEE-Assam said that there was no instruction till date from the state government for conducting the exam in 2012.

With no announcement made so far by the Assam government to conduct or not conduct the CEE, the states including Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu taken a decision on going ahead with their state entrance test instead of NEET.

So, confusions are prevailing among the Class XII Assam students whether the CEE-Assam would be held next year or common National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2012 for Medical College Admission (MBBS) by including all the medical colleges in the country.
